Preparing For Your Waxing & Sugaring Appointment

First time sugaring or waxing? Don’t worry. We are here to help you. We have complied the list of do’s and dont’s to keep in mind to ensure you have the best service experience with your WAXOXO X-PertĀ®.

Before Your Appointment


Exfoliate the areas being waxed / sugared gently 24 hours before your appointment.

Avoid tanning

We cannot wax or sugar hair from sunburned skin. We recommend at least 48 hours after you had a significant sun exposure / tanning.

Trim / measure

For sugaring, we can take care of your fur that is shorter in length with 1/16″ as minimum length, and for waxing it should be at least 1/4″ (size of rice grain).

Be natural

Your skin should be clean and dry. Avoid using any powders, sprays, creams or lotions prior to your appointment. Make sure there are no cuts or bruises on your body.

Avoid tight clothing

Refrain from wearing tight clothing around the areas that are to be waxed or sugared.

If you are menstruating

You can get waxed or sugared if you are mensurating, but you might be extra sensitive during this time. We ask you to wear a tampon during your session.

After Your Appointment

Keep hydrated

Keep your skin hydrated and apply lotions to the areas that were sugared or waxed.

Avoid hot shower for 24h

Avoid sauna or hot shower for atleast 24h after sugaring or waxing.

Apply soothing masques

Apply soothing organic masques or gels like aloe vera.

No exfoliation for 48h

Avoid exfolation to the sugared and waxed areas for atleast 48h.

Avoid swimming or workout for 24h

Avoid swimming or wokrout for 24h as the skin is sensitive.

Preventing ingrown hair

Gently exfoliate 2-3 times a week using a good quality exfoliation scrub. Apply tea tree oil to sensitive roots of hair.
